Zee TV’s popular fiction show, Piyaa Albela has been grabbing eyeballs and entertaining the audiences thoroughly with the twists and turns in Naren (played by Akshay Mhatre) and Pooja’s (played by Sheen Dass) love story. As the story progresses, viewers will see Rahul (played by Ankit Vyas) and Angraj (played by Sahil Uppal initially) tricking the entire family into believing that Angraj is dead. However, the audiences will be in for a shock when they find that Angraj is still alive and has returned to the Vyas house in disguise of Naren, after undergoing a plastic surgery. On the other hand, the real Naren has been held hostage by Angraj and Rahul. For the upcoming track, actor Akshay Mhatre who has won hearts of both critics and viewers alike with his impeccable performance as Naren will be seen donning a double role and playing two contrasting characters!

Talking about this exciting track, Akshay Mhatre said, “This show has given me the opportunity to essay different shades playing Naren. I remember, how the show started with Naren’s character being innocently idealistic and on a path of spirituality and later shifted to a negative bold character of a powerful ruthless politician who eventually mellows down to being his old self. And now, playing a double role is another accomplishment for me as an actor. It is interesting as well as challenging to portray two contrasting characters at the same time and constantly switching between them. I have to work really hard to get into the skin of the role, adapt to certain mannerisms and gestures of Angraj and play the character effortlessly. There is a lot of excitement in the upcoming track and I am eagerly awaiting my fans’ reactions”.
