Amidst all dancing duo’s trying to make a mark in the hearts of audiences, High Fever was graced by a very unique ‘maa beta’ jodi. To celebrate the ‘Thank You’ special episode, &TV invited famous choreographer Geeta Kapoor and actor and dancer Faisal Khan.
‘Geeta maa’ as fondly called by her students, holds a special bond with her discovery, her student- Faisal Khan. On the other hand, Faisal came to surprise his ‘Geeta Maa’ whom he considers as his mother, since the age of 13. He wanted to thank her for all the support and guidance that she showered him all these years. In the language that binds them in the same string – Dance, Faisal gave a heartfelt performance for Geeta Kapoor.
The very emotional ‘Geeta Maa’, with her effervescent smile hugged Faisal and said “I am taking home a lot of memories today, it’s been a very special day. I am so overwhelmed, honestly, I don’t know what I have done, to deserve so much of love, but I am just very grateful to god for it. My baby, my son, Faisal I love you. So many kids have asked me that have we performed as good as Faisal, and I very shamelessly say, No. I have known him since he was 13 and he’ll always be my 13-year-old baby. We don’t have just the mother – son relationship, we have also grown to be very good friends too. Thank you once again to High Fever, and &TV for this wonderful gesture. And whenever you want to say thank you to someone, just say it, otherwise you lose that precious time”.
Faisal also got really emotional and expressed himself with such beautiful word, he said– ‘Today, I also want to thank one of the most important person in my life – Geeta Maa. I am standing here because of both of my mothers, one, who gave me birth and other is you, who has always shown me the right path to follow. Geeta Maa has taught me to believe in myself. Another very significant thing at I have learned from her is – ‘Sapne Umar nai, karam dekhte hai’, this will always stay with me, thank you so much”.
It was a beautifully emotional moment on the sets of High Fever, that left everyone teary. Celebrating unique jodi’s High Fever will continue to bring to you many more beautiful relationships.
