Zee TV’s weekend fiction offering Detective Didi is the story of a spirited female detective Bunty Sharma, whose passion to solve crimes is driven by her need to protect her city’s citizens. Sonia Balani who plays the tituliar role of Bunty Sharma in the show has been shooting in the capital since quite some time now, performing some daredevil stunts in the show and thereby enthralling the audience. 

In order to give the show a musical twist, singer and rapper Hard Kaur has been roped in who has recently recorded a rap rendition for the show.  The song narrates how Bunty Sharma aka ‘Detective Didi’ (Sonia Balani) gears up to fight against crime and deliver justice to the innocent. The lyrics of the song is ‘Chandni Chowk Ka Bacha-Baccha…Karein Full-On Taareef Iski …Sab Kehte Hai Supergirl Isse…Mohalle Mein Tashan Hai Iski…Detective Didi’. 

Actor Sonia Balani who’s elated about performing to the rap said, “I am glad that Hard Kaur has rapped the title track for the show. Just like my character Bunty, she has been unique in her songs and real life and so, it’s perfect that she has lent her voice for the track. I feel fortunate also because I have never seen a rap song being the title track of a TV show.”
