Having completed a decade in the industry, handsome hunk Gaurav Bajaj is back on television post a two-year break. The wait has paid off in the form of an opportunity he was long awaiting, the actor has recently bagged a pivotal role as a bad boy on &TV’s Siddhivinayak. Gaurav’s entry in the show promises to create a storm in Siddhi and Vinayak’s life and the show’s storyline too, leaving the audience in shock. The current track sees the protagonist Vinayak (Nitin Goswami) landed in jail in a bid to protect his mother from an accusation of murder Manjari (Utkarsha Naik). However, Manjari has different plans of her own and has been busy plotting against her son secretly for a while, and Siddhi (Farnaz Shetty) who knows the truth is on a mission to reveal her evil intensions. Why does a mother want to kill her own son who she has loved till now? Gaurav Bajaj’s entry as Rudra will help find the missing piece in the puzzle in what has been the biggest revelation on Siddhivinayak as yet.

Gaurav will play the character of Rudra who is stubborn, uncouth and shrewd, having grown in the lap of crime from a very young age. He has survived a hostile environment and lacks a moral compass of what is right and wrong. Talking about his new stint and his character on the show, Gaurav said, “I am extremely glad to have bagged this role as Rudra on &TV’s Siddhivinayak. What makes it more special is that it comes at a pivotal point in the story line as my character brings a 360-degree change in the life of Siddhi and Vinayak”. Giving us a little sneak peek into the character, Gaurav said, “One can say that my role as Rudra has 50 shades of grey. Rudra is impulsive and violent but is also extremely unpredictable in nature. The makers of the show have given me the liberty to get creative with my character, which is always an extremely exciting proposition for any actor”.

Watch the drama unfold on Siddhivinayak every Monday – Friday at 9 PM only on &TV
