Zee TV’s next early primetime offering ‘Rajaa Betaa’ introduces viewers to an ideal young man, Vedant (played by Rrahul Sudhir)– a highly qualified gynaecologist, adopted in his early childhood by the Tripathi family. Brought up by a deeply discouraging, disinterested father but with the love of his foster dada-dadi, Vedant flowers into a fine young man, accomplishing everything his father couldn’t. Vedant constantly finding ways and means of giving back to a family that never truly considered him their own and largely turned to him for their own vested interests. Will love change Vedant’s destiny and find him someone that truly loves him for who he is? Find out as ‘Raja Beta’ goes on air, shortly on Zee TV.
The cast of the show has been shooting in the pink city, Jaipur and they recently shot a pre-wedding sequences in which there is a fire at the venue and Vedant jumps in to save all his family members. But the reel scenario turned into a minor real life accident when the show’s lead Rrahul got injured on his foot due to which he started limping. Despite having injured himself, the dedicated actor soldiered on and finished the sequence with pure perfection.
Rrahul shared, “It was a night shift and while we were shooting all a sudden the fire which was supposed to be a part of the scene got a little out of hand and while we were rolling I ended up hurting my foot. The production house quickly jumped into action and resolved the matter. Even though they decided to cancel the shoot and give me a break to recover, I insisted on carrying on and finishing the shoot so that we could wrap up at the earliest. I love shooting for the action sequences and it kept me motivated to work despite the injury. Well they do say that there is no gain without pain so I hope that our efforts and hard work do pay off.”
Now that’s some sort of dedication towards the craft. We wish Rrahul a speedy and full recovery!
The much-anticipated Rajaa Betaa will be telecast soon on Zee TV!
