For Bhabhi Ji’s Saumya Tandon aka Anita Bhabhi Yoga is a way of life
Celebrities and yoga have always been known to go hand in hand and some of our favourite celebrities completely swear by this effective and meditative form of practice. One such celebrity is actress Saumya Tandon, popularly known as Anita Bhabhi from &TV’s Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain. She believes that Yoga is a way of life and not just a form of exercise, it is a holistic offering that provides benefits beyond any other format of physical exercise. The credit for her svelte and graceful body goes to her regular yoga routine that she devoutly follows inspite of her extremely busy shooting schedule.

Saumya’s mother would advise her to incorporate pranayam to her routine when she was younger, but she always dismissed it thinking it was boring. It was lonely later through the years that Saumya realized that her body needed much more than simple weight training. Celebrating World Yoga Day, the popular television actress shared her thoughts on how yoga has become an integral part of her life saying, “Yoga is not just about being fit, it is about meditation, focus, stretching and so much more, you can’t merely call it an exercise – it is a way of life. There are so many benefits of yoga still unknown to us. You can add certain pranayams to your usual gym routine too.” She further added “Yoga is one of the most beautiful treasures of our country and everyone around the world is now exploring, learning and celebrating it. We are really fortunate to have such knowledge in our country. We must all try to make yoga a part of our lives in some way.”

Actor Nitin Goswami a.k.a Vin from &TV’s Siddhivinayak Yoga is a stressbuster
When most people think about yoga, it is typically assumed a feminine form of exercise. Putting these stereotypes to rest is actor Nitin Goswami, popularly known as Vin or Vinayak from &TV’s Siddhivinayak. Nitin believes that men reap many benefits from practicing yoga. Yoga for men increases flexibility, establishes mindfulness, and enhances athletic performance. Sharing his thoughts on International Yoga Day, he said, “I truly believe that Yoga is for everyone, irrespective of your age or fitness level. I have found that regular practice of yoga has helped me maximize my workout regimes. It gives me more energy and I do not find myself tired or drained out after a tiring day of shoot.” He further added “I advise everyone to incorporate or spend time practicing yoga, it helps you relieve the stress from both mind and body which is so important now a days”.
