Zee TV’s new fiction show Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se has been receiving great reviews for its unique concept that breaks stereotypes. The unconventional love story has popular telly actor Suhasi Dhami playing the role of a 42-year-old woman Vedika Mathur who happens to fall in love with a 24-year-old man Sahil Agarwal. Suhasi who made her comeback to the small screen after a brief hiatus of three years is receiving strong feedback for her portrayal of the strong and independent single mother. However, not many people know that Suhasi drew inspiration from her dance teacher Madhu to prepare for her character in the show.
Suhasi who is also a trained dancer recently bumped into her dance teacher at an eatery and spoke to her at length about Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se. Suhasi’s teacher was excited upon hearing about the concept and shared with her what it has been like for her to be married to a man who is younger by a decade. Suhasi who was very happy to receive insights from her mentor said, “It was amazing to catch up with my dance teacher after so long; I am completely inspired by her. I was able to draw parallels between her and Vedika’s story and asked for suggestions to emote during certain scenes on-screen. Moreover, such unconventional stories are never really out in the open in society, but I am glad my teacher shared her story with me. As an actor, it really helped me prepare for my character.”
It is really heart-warming to see people share such incredible stories and come out in the open without hesitation, proving that one doesn’t really need a licence to love! We really hope that with a show like Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se, the message of loving without any barriers reaches viewers.

To witness Vedika and Sahil’s unique love story, tune into Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se every Monday-Friday at 10:30PM only on Zee TV!
