After the raging success of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs last year, Zee TV’s iconic, longest-running and by far the most prestigious singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is back to give the nation’s aspiring singers an opportunity to showcase their melodious voices and build an extraordinary career in the world of music. The show, in its previous seasons, has been instrumental in discovering some of the finest gems who are now a part of India’s music fraternity including Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala, Kamal Khan, Amanat Ali, Raja Hassan, Sanjeevani and Bela Shende amongst many others. Joining the cult franchise in its musical journey for the very first time, right from discovering India’s greatest talent to honing their skills and polishing them before their launch into the music industry will be the sensational singer Sona Mohapatra.
Sona shot to fame with her debut album after which she explored diverse styles such as rock, rhythm, blues, flamenco, Hindustani, Baul and Romani music. Since then, there has been no looking back for this versatile, multi-talented songstress! With multiple films under her belt and some blockbuster chartbuster songs like Ambarsariya and Bedradi Raja in her kitty, she has managed to impress the audiences and garner a huge fan following. As she takes her first steps into the world of television as a judge on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, she will be instrumental in helping aspiring singers from across the country in finding their style, grooming their vocal skills and scaling their highest potential.
