&TV is all set to launch its new offering Laal Ishq on 23rd June 2018, providing viewers an exciting series of passionate love stories with a supernatural twist. Intertwined in generous amounts of romance and thrill, the show portrays love in a way that will make viewers question the clichéd happily ever after love stories. Given the episodic concept of the show, each narrative will be a unique one, divergent from one another. Laal Ishq possesses an underlying theme of love with a twist, thus providing a fresh genre for viewers on the weekend which is typically laden with a line-up of reality shows. Every story will feature different renowned faces from the world of television and the channel has recently roped in popular television actress Mahhi Vij as the lead for the next episode which will be produced by Dipti Kalwani’s Sunny Side Up productions.

Mahhi Vij is famous for her repertoire of performances on television, both in fiction dramas and reality shows. She has played multiple interesting roles in the past, mostly portraying bold women characters. In Laal Ishq too, the talented and beautiful actress will play the role of Seher who falls in love with the heartthrob Zain Imam (playing Akshat). Their unique love story will highlight the intricacies and repentances of love along with the element of a supernatural force. Excited about her character in Laal Ishq and sharing her experience, Mahhi said, “I have always been inclined toward supernatural stories and &TV’s Laal Ishq is my first step in experimenting with this genre. The fact that the show has an element of romance in it, helped me firm my decision. My intuition played a large part in leading me to be a part of this show. I hope the audience will enjoy watching me in this interesting series.”
