Inner Wheel Club of Lucknow ‘PRERNA’ has once again demonstrated its commitment to community service and environmental conservation by undertaking several impactful projects on World Environment Day. Led by President Diksha Jain and with the active participation of its dedicated members, the club has successfully installed a water cooler at the IFC Innovative Paathshala center, along with other commendable endeavors. The centerpiece of this initiative was the installation of a state-of-the-art 20-liter Blue Star water cooler at the IFC Innovative Paathshala center. This essential addition will ensure that the students and staff have access to clean and refreshing drinking water, especially during the hot summer months. The installation of the water cooler signifies the club’s dedication to providing essential amenities for educational institutions and promoting the well-being of the community.
In addition to the water cooler installation, Inner Wheel Club of PRERNA organized several other projects on this significant occasion. The club arranged for water pots to be placed strategically around the local area, ensuring that people in need could easily access clean drinking water. This thoughtful gesture not only addresses the immediate requirements of the community but also encourages sustainable practices by reducing the usage of single-use plastic bottles. Recognizing the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, the club distributed two dustbins to encourage proper waste management. Simultaneously, hygiene products were provided to further emphasize the significance of personal cleanliness and create awareness about sanitation practices. By undertaking these initiatives, the Inner Wheel Club of PRERNA aims to foster a cleaner and healthier environment for all.
The club also organized a poster-making competition on World Environment Day, inviting participants to showcase their artistic talents while spreading messages of environmental awareness. The competition served as a platform to educate the community about the importance of protecting the environment and preserving natural resources. The winners were recognized for their creativity and received prizes, encouraging their continued involvement in environmental causes.
