The actors recently visited the sets of India’s Best Dramebaaz to promote their highly anticipated flick ‘Sui Dhaaga’. While on the show, Varun and Anushka not only enjoyed the contestants’ performances but also made quite a few revelations.

After the romantic comedy act between a male and female house- help featuring contestants Harsh Raj Lucky and Dipali Borkar, Anushka and Varun were called on stage and asked to sell a few ‘Made in India’ products like Belan, Lota, Lungi, Sweater, Langot in sync with the theme of their upcoming movie. Anushka not only sold the products to the judges- Omung Kumar, Vivek Oberoi and host Shantanu Maheshwari, but also revealed a teeny-weeny secret about herself. “I have never made rotis in my life but to get into Mamta’s character for Sui Dhaga, I practised making rotis. During breaks, I would sit with chakla-belan and make rotis. Sometimes people on set used to tell me why don’t you make the rotis for the scene and I used to actually make them.” After completing the challenge, everyone, including judges, host and the kids learnt the hook step of the song ‘Badhiyan’ from Anushka and Varun.

This week’s episode has a lot in store for the audiences as they will witness some power-packed performances. Angelica and Anish charmed the spectators with their act on ‘Malkam’, little dramebaaz Snigdha and Garvit left everyone in splits with their comedy act recreating Sui Dhaga movie for the special guests Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan. Well that wasn’t all, the celebrity guests Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan were seen unwinding themselves and having a blast with the nautanki kids as they engaged in fun-filled conversations with the little dramebaaz.
