The first ever live singing reality show for kids, Love Me India set a huge benchmark in the reality space with its grand LIVE premiere that was aired on &TV over the weekend. Setting the stage on fire, while leaving India with no alternative but to shower them with immense love were the young contestants and the true rockstars of the show. Hailing from the most distinct parts of the country, these young kids at a mere age of 5 or 10 years stole the nation’s heart with their exceptional talent and marvellous singing. While the opening episodes of the show thoroughly entertained the viewers, it also left them speechless and filled with emotions at seeing the passion and confidence of these young kids.

Amongst the several breath-taking performances, was one that left the viewers and judges overwhelmed. Mentored by the North zone captain, Navraj Hans, the 12-year-old Gulshan Kumar’s powerful voice and attitude with a sense of determination to achieve pierced everyone’s heart as he crooned to – ‘Kar Har Maidaan Fataih’.

A son of an e-rickshaw driver in Delhi, Gulshan along with his family have spent dreadful nights with no food to feed themselves due to the lack of daily income. His father, who is extremely proud of his son’s incredible talent has put up his rickshaw as a collateral against a loan for his son’s singing education. Gulshan is determined to use his talent to support his family and get them out of the extreme financial issues.

Supporting his talent immensely and extending a helping hand towards the contestant was the generous judge of the show, Himesh Reshammiya. In an attempt to fix the deep hole in Gulshan’s father’s pocket, the Love Me India judge decided to extend financial support to Gulshan’s father.

Commenting upon his father’s gesture Himesh said “It’s incredible how his father didn’t think even for a minute before putting his only mode of income as a collateral to support his son’s talent. I am impressed by this young kid’s performance and considering his background, I would like to help them and help Gulshan fulfil his father’s dream. With this, I hope to give Gulshan constant support that would help him live his dream and reduce the financial burden faced in bringing him here. He is an inspiration to many parents and kids alike.”

With a bunch of such talented young singers, &TV’s Love Me India is all set to bring forth many more such exciting performances that will add to this beautiful musical journey.

Stay tuned to Love Me India, every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM on &TV.
