Daroga Happu Singh from &TV’s hit fictional comedy Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, is not just entertaining the audiences with his comic timing but also the whole cast and crew of the show. Yogesh Tripathi aka Happu Singh is a phenomenal mimicry artist in real life. Once the camera stops rolling he keeps the entire cast enthralled with his enactments of different characters of the show.
Rohitash Gaud known for his portrayal of Manmohan Tiwari, talks about how Yogesh Tripathi mimics his character, impersonating every minute details. He says that his character being a business of undergarments has caught Yogesh’s eye and he leaves no chance to pull his leg on it. He also talks about how Teeka, Malkhan and Tillu (Vaibhav Mathur, Dipesh Bhan and Salim Zaidi) joins him and entertain the whole team with their stand-up comedy behind the camera.
When we asked Rohitash about Yogesh Tripathi’s mimicry sessions he said – “(laughes) it’s simply fantastic and keeps all of us bonded. Yogesh is excellent at his art, the ease with which he catches Aasif’s accent (Vibhuti Narayan Mishra’s) and also his adaptation of Angoori’s (played by Shubhangi Atre) catch phrases, is impeccable. It’s just so much fun when he is on the set, it’s like a never-ending party even after the cameras are off. It’s great to be a part of such a talented and loving team.”.
Looks like as much fun we are having watching the show, the team is having while making it.
