The fifth edition of Lucknow city’s most awaited and famous event, ‘Lucknow Run’ is going to be held on 05 November 2023. This half marathon organized by ‘The Centrum‘ is an initiative to promote public welfare and the culture of healthy living. We salute the spirit of harmony and culture of Lucknow through ‘Lucknow Run‘.
Like every year, this year too, hundreds of runners and fitness lovers from Lucknow as well as other cities of the country are participating in this run. More than 800 students from Lucknow and many other schools of Uttar Pradesh are also participating in ‘Lucknow Run’. As compared to ‘Lucknow Run 2022’, the number of participants has got doubled this year!
Renowned organizations like Inner Wheel, Rotary Club, Lucknow Sahodaya Schools’ Complex, Indian Industries Association, etc. are proudly supporting this mission to promote good health and good life. The event will also witness the presence of various dignitaries, bureaucrats, ministers, academicians and heads of institutions.
Commissioner of Lucknow city Dr. Roshan Jacob, District Magistrate Suryapal Gangwar, Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Durga Shankar Mishra, Chief of Staff Central Command Gen Mukesh Chadha, etc., are some of the prominent personalities who will be present on 05 November to encourage the participants of ‘Lucknow Run 2023’.
The run is organised in four categories 03, 05, 10 and 21 km. respectively. A ‘Bib-Expo’ is going to be organised in GD Goenka School, Sushant Golf City on 03 & 04 November 2023 for the distribution of T-shirts and running kits to the registered participants of ‘Lucknow Run’.
The main organiser and the man behind ‘Lucknow Run’, Sarvesh Goel, is elated to see the enthusiasm of the people towards this run. He told that this run, which started 5 years ago, has now not only made its mark at the national level but is also accepted on many international platforms. ‘Lucknow Run’ is also recognized by the World Athletics Association.
With every passing year this race is gaining more fame and has become one of the most popular events of the city, and very soon ‘Lucknow Run’ will be the biggest run of India and will make its mark at the international level too.
