&TV’s new live singing reality show for kids, Love Me India recently announced some of the biggest singing sensations of India as its judges – Guru Randhawa, Himesh Reshammiya and Neha Bhasin. The reality show enjoys a unique format which has four extremely talented and established singers of the music industry as captains leading their four respective zones of India – North, South, East and West. Each captain will spearhead a team of contestants from their respective zones. While the captains will nurture and support the young talent, the audience holds the most control over the voting powers, right from the start of the auditions. The viewers will get to vote-in their favourite singers and decide who gets to perform on the big stage right from day 1.
Leading the East zone throughout this journey will be popular singer Bhoomi Trivedi. She started singing at a very young age and has a catalogue of hit Bollywood and Gujarati songs to her credit. While Bhoomi Trivedi has enthralled music lovers across India with her Bollywood numbers, her contribution towards Gujarati music and films cannot be missed. Her songs like Ram Chahe Leela and Udi Udi Jaye have made her one of the most popular singers from Gujarat. She has been nominated for several categories and awards for her scintillating voice in Ram-Leela which garnered her huge traction in Bollywood. After creating magic several times on the big screen, the singer is finally all set to make her television debut.
Leading her own team as a captain for the very first time, Bhoomi says, “I have had a beautiful 5-year long journey with various reality shows before getting my first big break. To return to a reality show format 8 years later, that too on the other side as a captain is a matter of great pride for me. I believe the innovative concept of Love Me India provides several aspiring kid singers an appropriate platform to showcase their singing talent. More importantly, it allows access to the audience who can choose them as their favourite singer and also a chance to win their hearts through their singing. The contestants will observe and learn a lot not just from us captains, but from the esteemed judges as well. Since music has always been my passion, I am extremely delighted to mentor and guide this new set of talented kids. Abiding by my captain duty, I am quite keen on encouraging these aspiring singers and understanding their respective strengths so as to build them for the competitive industry ahead. In fact, I’m looking forward to learn from these kids as well.”
