&TV is all geared up to present a refreshing new show – Bitti Businesswali. Set in UP, the show lays the groundwork with a character who will highlight ‘swabhimaan kamaanewali’ or in other words earning her self-respect with financial independence.   

To essay a crucial character, Mahi, the male lead, the makers have roped in popular television actor Abhishek Bajaj, who was previously seen in &TV’s hit tv series – Santoshi Maa. Mahi has various shades to himself. He is a softie at heart but portrays a rough and tough image to the world outside. Working as a sand contractor, he has learnt the tricks of trade from his father and comes across as a tad bit aggressive and more of a dabangg to ensure his work gets done. However, he is a sensitive person, respectful towards elders and has a great sense of humour that comes across in his one-liners! How he manages to come across Bitti is something to watch out for. 

When we asked Abhishek about his thoughts on being a part of Bitti Businesswali, the very talented actor said- “It’s amazing to be back on &TV, and to get a chance to be a part of Bitti Businesswali. This is a story that needs to be told, it should be heard by every man and woman of our country. The intent here is to instigate a change in the way India thinks about women empowerment and financial independence. This is a great team that I am working with and can’t wait to see audiences’ reaction on the show’s concept”.
