Having captivated viewers with enlightening stories on Betaal’s origin and Vikram’s quest to capture the fascinating spirit, &TV’s Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gaatha is all set to now delve deep into the old shastras of mythological stories. Presenting the same enriching tales from King Vikramaditya’s point of view, yet leaving the audience with a very different insight, the show is set to unveil many unheard stories of a periodic era.  Every new character will add an extra element of curiosity and entertainment to the show with a promise to hook the audience.

After impressing the audiences with several bold roles and with a marvellous and successful appearance in &TV’s Waaris, the famous telly actor Aarti Singh is set to return with a new and enthralling character of Draupadi in Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gaatha. As Betaal recites the story of Draupadi and the story behind her being called a sati, despite being married to five husbands, Vikram’s unconventional thoughts will give the audience a deeper understanding to the old folklores that have been believed for years. Narrating the injustice that happened to Draupadi in her previous birth as a girl named Sachi, the wise and knowledgeable ghost Betaal will leave Vikram looking for answers to various questions of justice.

Perfectly fitted for the character of Sachi, Aarti believes in playing strong and bold roles which can make a difference in the industry. Her career in the telly industry has brought several accolades for her memorable roles in various TV shows that have highlighted some important societal issues.

Speaking about her new stint in the show, Aarti Singh said, “The character of Draupadi is a complete contrast to all the characters that I’ve played till now. There are so many faces associated with this character from the past but the fact that she has been such an important part of our mythology makes it even more exciting for me.  I believe that the biggest challenge in being a part of such a show is to get the dialogues right. The language is different from what we way speak in our daily soaps, it’s much more complicated. But I am sure it’s going to be a great learning process for me and I hope to do justice to this role. This is my second association with &TV and it’s been a delightful experience. Additionally,it’s an honour to be a part of a beautiful and legendary show like Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gaatha.”
