The makers of &TV’s popular show Meri Hanikarak Biwi, have left no stone unturned to keep the attention of viewers intact. A new twist in the show awaits as Akhilesh’s dark past will be back to haunt him. The drama will become intense as televisions popular face Sayantani Gosh will enter the show to create stir in the life of Akhilesh and Ira. 

Sayantani Ghosh will be seen playing the role of Neerja who is Gulki’s (Neeta Shetty) sister and was a teacher in Akhilesh’s school in Banaras. Her character will resurface Akhilesh’s past due to which he stopped going to school and discretely distanced himself from women. Sayantani’s character will bring a complete change in Akhilesh’s life. 

On talking about her character in the show, Sayantani said “Its great to be back on &TV in a pivotal role on a show like Meri Hanikarak Biwi. Neerja played an important part in Akhilesh’s past that had a huge impact on his life. And now my character’s entry will turn his life upside down. The viewers are in for a lot of drama and a major twist and I can’t wait to see their reactions.”
