Her filmi career got off to a rollicking start with blockbuster film ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’. Now Bhagyashree, is making a comeback in films. But this time it’s not Bollywood but Tollywood. “Now that my children have grown up, I have decided to do films again. Right now, I’m going to work in a Telugu film which is a remake of Hindi film ‘Two States’,” informs Bhagyashree, who was in the city as a chief guest in a women empowerment programme.
Discussing about the changes in the film industry since the time she started her career and now, Bhayashree says, “Now there are roles written specially for married actresses. Earlier, married actresses used to do bhabhi or sister’s role. But now strong roles like police officer, lawyer, etc are written for them, which is a good thing.”
