TV shows often witness time leaps to raise the entertainment and drama quotient, and grip audience attention. In keeping with this, &TV’s fiction offering Half Marriage is all set to take a 2-year leap. And, as a new chapter unfurls in Arjun (Tarun Mahilani) and Chandini’s (Priyanka Purohit) lives, the show is all set for the entry of a new character, Maya. Television actress Vindhya Tiwari, who has amazed audiences in the past with her acting skills will be seen stepping into Maya’s shoes. 

In Half Marriage, Maya will be Raj Shekhawat’s (also Tarun Mahilani) secretary. While Maya tries to project to the world that she is Raj’s friend and confidante, Raj does not acknowledge her behaviour and continues to treat her as his secretary. During the one and a half year that Maya has worked for Raj, she has fallen in love with him and wants to become a part of his life. As per sources, Maya will play a crucial role in Chandini and Arjun’s love story. 

When asked about her entry in Half Marriage, Vindhya Said “I have worked with Kavita Barjatya in the past and when I got a call for the show I was really excited. She was quite keen to bring me on-board because of which I bagged this role in one day. Maya’s character too was something that interested me; she will be the parallel lead in the show. My entry, in Half Marriage, will be a post leap development which will cause many events to unfold before the audiences. This is my second stint with the channel and I am looking forward to my journey with the show.”
