Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar paid a surprise visit to Lucknow at the Babu Banarsi Das Badminton Academy, which is hosting Premier Badminton League matches. Akshay is the brand ambassador of Premier Badminton League and owns Team Mumbai Rockets. The crowds got excited seeing their favorite Bollywood star among them. They even started calling Akshay ‘Mister Khiladi’ loudly. Akshay too responded in a positive manner and went to meet the audience in the stands and also distributed Badminton rackets.
Speaking about the brilliance of the game Badminton, Khiladi Kumar said, “Badminton is the fastest game in the world. In Cricket, the ball comes at a speed of 150 km/hr. But in Badminton, the speed of shuttle is around 400 km/hr. Players have very little time to react in Badminton.”
Akshay believes that in the upcoming Brazil Olympics, India will surely get a gold medal in Badminton. Khiladi Kumar also intends to make a film on Badminton.
