It was a historic day for the citizens of Lucknow as the the Lucknow Metro line from Transport Nagar to Charbagh was inaugurated by CM Yogi Adityanath in the presence of UP Governor Ram Naik, and Home Minister and Lok Sabha MP from Lucknow Rajnath Singh. Speaking on the occasion, CM Yogi Adityanath said that more Metro trains will run in other major cities of UP including Agra, Kanpur, Jhansi, Varanasi in the days to come.
