Farhan Akhtar is one of Bollywood’s most talented actors. But he’s also made a name for himself in the field of direction and singing. The ‘Rock On’ star was in Lucknow to perform at the Lucknow Mahotsav. “I came to Lucknow for the first time some 20 years back with my father. At that time a road named after Safia Akhtar was under construction. After that, I visited Lucknow on quite a few occasions for my films’ promotions. But this is the first time that I’m performing here. It’s my first concert in Lucknow and I’m very excited,” says Farhan whose father Javed Akhtar has strong connections with the city.
Farhan feels fortunate that he got a chance to do multiple work in the film industry. “Be it direction, singing or acting, I love to entertain people. I feel I’m lucky that I have been liked by my fans in all the forms. See, entertaining people is like doing social work,” says Farhan who is busy these days in making ‘Rock On-2’.
