Lucknow witnessed a vibrant cultural celebration this November as the month-long art fair “Lucknow Spectrum-2025,” organised by Florescence Art Gallery, turned the city into a canvas of colours and creativity. Under the visionary leadership of Founder-Director Neha Singh, the exhibition emerged as a dynamic platform not just for the city but for the entire region, attracting artists, teachers, students, art enthusiasts and collectors. Curated by Bhupendra Asthana and Rajesh Kumar, the fair aimed at inspiring young minds by connecting them to the expressive world of contemporary, folk, and tribal Indian art—beyond the boundaries of textbooks. Through meaningful collaboration with schools and colleges, the fair succeeded in bridging formal education with experiential visual arts.

A major highlight of the event was the enthusiastic participation of students from several institutions, including LPS Vrindavan Yojna, SR Global School Bakshi Ka Talab, and Vidyagyan School Sitapur. For many students, this was their first exposure to a diverse and extensive art showcase, sparking curiosity, joy and genuine artistic inquiry. As they observed expressive paintings, intricate sculptures and experimental installations, their teachers guided them in identifying techniques, interpreting themes and understanding emotions behind each creation. Principals Ravneet Nagi and Rashmi Chadha, along with several art educators, appreciated the fair’s immersive learning environment. Sharing her thoughts, Principal Rashmi Chadha expressed heartfelt gratitude to Neha Singh, the curators and the Florescence team for offering students an experience that would stay with them for life and nurture their emotional and creative intelligence.

Supported by the Phoenix Plassio team under Director Sanjeev Sharin, the fair also hosted an on-the-spot sketching workshop by Urban Sketchers on Sunday. Conceived as a “Learning Gallery,” Lucknow Spectrum-2025 successfully opened new windows of imagination for students, encouraging them to question, explore and express. As the month drew to a close, group discussions among students reflected how deeply the experience had impacted them. Widely appreciated by educators, artists and visitors throughout November, the fair sparked fresh dialogue on modern art practices, cultural awareness and creative thinking. With gratitude to art educators Soni Chaurasia, Sandeep Kumar, Raghunath Jena and others, the initiative stands as a significant step towards shaping an aware and artistically empowered young generation.
