Lucknow School of Dance in Gomti Nagar came alive with music, movement, and celebration as it hosted a dynamic two-hour free dance workshop exclusively for women. This special event was led by the renowned choreographer Kuljeet Rajwant Singh, who guided participants through two distinct and lively choreographies. One was a graceful semi-classical routine set to the soulful tune of “Naino Wale Ne,” while the other brought high energy with a Western-style routine on a remix of Taal, offering participants a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.

Around 25 women participated in the workshop, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere filled with joy, energy, and self-expression. From beginners to seasoned dancers, each participant brought their own enthusiasm and spirit to the studio. Archana, Priyanka, and Pramila likened dance to a form of “therapy,” highlighting its healing and rejuvenating power. For them, the experience went beyond movement—it was a release and a form of emotional wellness.

Others, like Shefali and Mini, expressed sheer happiness and a sense of fulfillment through dance. Aspiring actor Parisha found immense value in the workshop, noting how the newly learned techniques and expressive gestures would enhance her acting craft. Mehak, who traveled all the way from Delhi with her daughter, cherished the workshop as a meaningful bonding experience, showcasing how dance can bridge generations and strengthen emotional connections.

The workshop wasn’t just about learning steps; it was about empowerment, expression, and community. The women danced together, encouraged one another, and rediscovered the joy of movement in a safe and uplifting environment. The event offered more than just choreography—it gave the participants a sense of confidence, connection, and freedom.

Inspired by the overwhelming response and positivity, Kuljeet Rajwant Singh announced his intention to hold similar workshops regularly. His vision is to help more women reconnect with themselves through dance, fostering self-love, creativity, and empowerment. The Lucknow School of Dance is thus set to become a hub of artistic revival and personal growth for women from all walks of life.
