&TV has been bringing viewers shows that have an intriguing storyline along with high entertainment values. Badho Bahu is one such show that is breaking stereotypes of ideal looking bahus as protagonists on television. Owing to its unique concept and growing popularity the makers of the show have decided to intensify the drama by introducing a new character which will be played by veteran actor Jaya Bhattacharya. 

Jaya who stands out in our memories as the intimidating antagonist in some of the famous daily soaps, will be seen playing an important cameo in the story line which will bring a lot of drama in the upcoming episodes. She will play the role of a social worker Sushma Bua who will try to get Lakha (Prince Narula) married to Titli (Kanika Mann). 

Talking about her entry Jaya said “I am super glad to be a part of this show. I am speaking Haryanvi in this role and I have been stumbling over the intricate details and the pronunciations in the said accent” She further added “But it has been a delight shooting with Badho Bahu’s team, they are all so welcoming. Normally when a new actor enters an already established show, there are ripples that go around but it wasn’t the case here. And I’m bringing a lot of variations to the character, while I played around a little on the dialogues far from keeping it mundane. I hope the audience will love this small yet interesting stint.” 

Well looks like a string of surprises are ensued for the viewers of &TV’s Badho Bahu.
