Manit Joura as Rishabh Luthra in Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya, “Days like these always evoke the feeling of pride in me, pride of being independent, pride of being able to make your own choices and pride of being an Indian. I strongly believe and support two causes: Education Of The Girl Child and Ride For Safety. Just like last year, where I took part in the Ride For Safety campaign, this year too I plan to take up for these cases. I have been fortunate enough to be a part of the Delhi Republic Day parade at Rajpath, New Delhi. It is a feeling that cannot be explained. In school, being a part of such a huge event was a great deal, but as the years went by, I have come to realise the importance and seriousness of this event. Republic Day is celebrated to remember how India’s constitution came into force on January 26, 1950, completing the country’s transition towards becoming an independent republic. Sadly, for most of us today, days like these have just become a day off, but for me in particular it is a day that I cherish the most as it is only on this day that we get to thank the people who are responsible for a free country that we live in, the people who are still away from their homes safeguarding our mother land so that we can stay safe. Thanking them or just remembering them on days like these is not enough. I am deeply indebted to them for being there for us. Jai Hind!

I remember as children we used to participate in parades wearing Khakee clothes spreading across the message of Republic day to the society.
