Sheen Das as Pooja in Zee TV’s Piyaa Albela said, “Republic Day is always about watching the parade with my family. I remember my school days when our principal used to unfurl the flag and distribute sweets. I would like to wish all my fans; a very Happy Republic Day and I urge every Indian to celebrate and honour the day.”

Kinshuk Mahajan as Aarav in Zee TV’s Bhootu, “Saare Jahaan Se Accha Hindustan Hamara, always! In school Republic day would start with flag hoisting followed by performances where I would dance to patriotic songs. All students would be dressed in tricoloured costumes and enjoy the celebrations. I strongly believe that every Indian should work to make India proud. Wishing you all a very Happy Republic Day. Jai Hind.”

Manit Joura as Rishabh Luthra in Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya, “Days like these always evoke the feeling of pride in me, pride of being independent, pride of being able to make your own choices and pride of being an Indian. I strongly believe and support two causes: Education Of The Girl Child and Ride For Safety. Just like last year, where I took part in the Ride For Safety campaign, this year too I plan to take up for these cases. I have been fortunate enough to be a part of the Delhi Republic Day parade at Rajpath, New Delhi. It is a feeling that cannot be explained. In school, being a part of such a huge event was a great deal, but as the years went by, I have come to realise the importance and seriousness of this event. Republic Day is celebrated to remember how India’s constitution came into force on January 26, 1950, completing the country’s transition towards becoming an independent republic. Sadly, for most of us today, days like these have just become a day off, but for me in particular it is a day that I cherish the most as it is only on this day that we get to thank the people who are responsible for a free country that we live in, the people who are still away from their homes safeguarding our mother land so that we can stay safe. Thanking them or just remembering them on days like these is not enough. I am deeply indebted to them for being there for us. Jai Hind!

Karan Jotwani as Sahil Agarwal in Zee TV’s Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se said, “Republic day is about integrity and togetherness. During my school days we used to be really excited and come together and participate in the Republic Day march past. Moreover, we must understand that Republic Day plays a significant role in our lives. It brings with it the idea of being integrated and coming together as part of one country, and this feeling is great. I would like to wish all my fans a very Happy Republic Day!

Akshay Mhatre as Naren in Zee TV’s Piyaa Albela said, “In school, Republic Day was always about coming together to hoist the flag, sing patriotic songs, participate in the march-past and celebrate this day. Moreover, I would urge every Indian to value and respect this historic day and I would like to wish all my fans a Happy Republic Day. Jai Hind!

Dheeraj Dhoopar who plays the role of Karan in Kundali Bhagya said, “The essence of this country is that its diversification unifies the Republic India. India is rich in culture. It has different kinds of classical dance forms, which might not be popular out of India. It also has different kinds of religions, languages…and of course the varied tasty foods. The best part of India is its diversity in every aspect…be it religions, languages or beliefs and yet the underlying oneness among its people. Republic Day celebrations take me down memory lane when I used to take part in parades and other sports activities. Wishing every Indian out there, a very Happy Republic Day.”

Manish Goplani who plays the role of Bhim Singh Bhullar in Detective Didi said, “Since I am shooting for my show in Delhi I am planning to go to India gate to witness the Parade. I remember as children we used to participate in parades wearing Khakee clothes spreading across the message of Republic day to the society. My message to the entire nation would be to spread love, prosperity, freedom and unity this 26th January and wave the Tiranga in each and every corner of India with pride!! A big Salute to the Indian army and the freedom fighters of our country!!”
