Tell us something about the concept of your show ‘Aadhe Adhoore’?

The concept of the show is totally different and unique. It is a show about the choices one makes given the circumstances that they find themselves in. It is a concept unlike any other on Indian television.

Tell us something about your character?
I have a very interesting character named Channi. She is a very sober and an innocent middle class girl. The graph of my character is growing so well that I am really enjoying performing this role. I really love my character.

Do you feel your character is challenging?
Definitely, for an actor every role which they enact is always challenging and you can’t take your character for granted. Portraying an innocent girl who listens to anybody and everybody even after getting criticized by them, is not an easy task, not everyone can do it. It needs a lot of patience and understanding to play such a character.

How much effort did you put in for this character?
I did not get much time to prepare but as soon as I got to know that I have to play such a beautiful character, I started modifying myself to become Channi. My friends and family feel that I’ve become Channi. My behaviour is very much like Channi’s and I feel really happy to say that Priyanka has now become Channi.

What is the secret to your fitness in such a busy schedule?
I don’t get much time to focus on the same but I do try my level best to stay fit. Drinking more water, eating good & healthy food, jogging, walking (on the sets while the shot is not ready) and also playing cricket on the sets makes me fit & healthy.

What is your beauty mantra?
Being happy is the best mantra for being beautiful. Eating good food, staying fit & healthy, taking care of yourself just adds on to being happy.

As your character Channi is a total Punjabi Mundi, do you dress up the same in your real life?
Ans – I think I am very different from Channi, I don’t dress up like Channi, it’s only during festive times I like to wear Indian otherwise I like wearing western clothes.

What are your future plans?
I want to do different and good projects. I want to do more challenging roles, and prove and improve myself day by day and of course. The ultimate dream is, get more famous.

How many colors?
It is hard to give an exact answer to this question, but in general one can say that the risk of using too many colors is greater than the risk of using too few.

Highlight color: This is a color that is used to emphasize certain parts of your outfit. It is usually a color which contrasts more with the primary and secondary colors, and therefore, it should be used with moderation. It is common to use a complimentary or split-complimentary color for this.
You can and should use these types of colors for every outfit you wear, if it’s a casual outfit, a work outfit, or, of course, a formal outfit. There are some combinations that go for more formal outfits, while some combinations go with casual or sport outfits. Usually darker colors are seen as formal, while bright color combinations are seen as sporty and fun.
