Zee TV’s Guddan…Tumse Na Ho Paega is a show that prods viewers to not be bogged down by others’ opinions of what you can or cannot do and urges them to cast aside their insecurities, believe in their abilities to achieve more than what you had imagined. The protagonist, Guddan Gupta (Kanika Mann) has bumbled and fumbled through life, constantly told by her own family and friends – Tumse Na Ho Payega. But through her sheer determination, persistence and never-give-in attitude, Guddan manages to keep going on without getting disheartened or bogged down by the nay sayers.

Kanika aka Guddan’s look on the show has her sporting long and thick tresses. With the actor sporting a shorter cut off screen, it takes Kanika forever to get ready, considering she has to wear a huge wig. Kanika who often worries about the wig falling off, insists that her hair stylist uses multiple pins to keep it in place, resulting in her getting a headache. But over time, Kanika has aced the art of wearing a wig and has learnt to be more comfortable with it.

Says Kanika, “When I started shooting for Guddan, I was not used to a wig. But since the character had a certain look, I had to wear one. There were times it restricted my head movement thereby affecting my expressions, but I was determined to overcome this obstacle. I smiled my way through it, even when I was uncomfortable. Taking inspiration from Guddan’s ‘can do’, ‘will do’ attitude, I have now overcome this and have aced the art of working with a wig, which makes me extremely happy.”

The gorgeous actress Kanika Mann like her onscreen avatar has managed to overcome this obstacle and achieve success by simply not giving up and definitely not listening to her inner voice which constantly told her ‘Kanika Tumse Na Ho Payega’. Through sheer hardwork, determination and a positive attitude, Kanika showed everyone ki ‘Usse Ho paya’.
