Known for his extraordinary skill in developing over 300 varieties of mangoes on a single tree through the intricate grafting technique, this evening was a tribute to his remarkable achievements. The event, aptly themed ‘Jin ke aam mein hai kuch khaas,’ celebrated his dedication and the diverse array of mangoes he has cultivated.

The Mango Man’s tree boasts an impressive array of mango varieties, each with its unique flavor and appeal. Notable varieties include Husn-e Ara, Sharbati Bagrain, Pukhraj, Asl-ul Muqarrar, Walajah Pasand, Khas-ul Khas, Makkhan, Himsagar, Shyam Sunder, and Prince. Among these, the beloved Dussheri, a local favorite, was a highlight of the evening.

Organized and hosted by Kulsum Talha, the visit to Abdullah Nursery was a delightful affair. Guests were treated to a mango tasting session where they could savor the distinct flavors of the various mangoes. The ambiance was further enriched with poetry recitations that paid homage to the cultural and emotional significance of mangoes in Indian tradition.

From the creamy texture of Makkhan to the aromatic richness of Sharbati Bagrain, every mango told a story of craftsmanship and love for nature.
